Charlie Park Albright (박찰리)

Charlie Park Albright (박찰리) is the Founder of Firsthand Ivy, and graduated as the first classical pianist in the Harvard/New England Conservatory 5-Year A.B./M.M. Joint Program, with a major in Economics from Harvard (A.B.) and Piano Performance (M.M.) from NEC. He then completed his post-graduate studies at the Juilliard School of Music, graduating with an Artist Diploma (A.D.) in Piano Performance.

Charlie has worked with students for ~10 years, tutoring academics and consulting for college admissions. He has personally helped many get accepted to the world’s top colleges, music conservatories, and joint programs, including Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Columbia, Duke, and Princeton.

In addition, he is an actively touring concert pianist, and is hailed as “among the most gifted musicians of his generation” (Washington Post), performing regularly at the world’s major venues (including Carnegie Hall, Symphony Hall Boston, NCPA Beijing, and Grieg Hall Norway) in solo performances, with top artists (including Yo-Yo Ma, Joshua Bell, and Bobby McFerrin), and with major orchestras.
